PETROLEUM SERVICE DIVISION

Equipment maintenance work is the mainstay of the company. The Petroleum Service Division undertakes much of this work through a comprehensive geographical network of field service technicians. Working in retail, commercial and industrial environments they provide 24 hour a day 7 day a week service second to none.

A diverse range of equipment is maintained from service station fuel dispensers and submersible pumps through forecourt signage and truck stop terminals to marine and aviation refueling facilities.

Field technicians maintain a carefully controlled vehicle stock of spare parts to ensure a first time fix. They are backed up by an in-house call centre which supports all customers. This resource enables Gilbarco to closely monitor and control the service delivered to ensure that response times and other key performance requirements are met.

Beside maintenance, field technicians install new petroleum products and are accredited to check the accuracy of petroleum flow meters and other instruments requiring certification to Ministry of Consumer Affairs standards.
