Scales and balances for industrial, retail, medical, personal and laboratory use remain core products for the Weighing and Testing Division, but the range includes electronic cash registers, EFTPOS terminals and point-of-sale equipment.

Business in industrial systems and special products is rapidly expanding for Gilbarco. Weighbridge control and data transaction analysis systems, materials testing machines and high speed dynamic checkweighers have all become increasingly functional thanks to software advances.

Security products form a significant and growing part of the portfolio. Gilbarco provides a range of security monitoring devices and has become a leading supplier of access and control systems for covered sporting venues such as squash complexes.

In all product sectors world-leading brands are distributed or factored, but a positive effort is also made to meet all budgets. Accordingly, carefully selected products from Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean manufacturers are offered along with high quality European, Japanese and American brands.

The Petroleum Division offers an equally diverse and impressive range of products.

As a result of the combining of Gilbarco and Veeder-Root, the New Zealand operation is superbly geared to offer leading brands at the cutting edge of technology. On the one hand Gilbarco remains a leader in the manufacture of fuel dispensing equipment, fully integrated point-of-sale systems and back office accounting systems for the global petroleum marketplace. On the other hand, Veeder-Root is a leader in automatic tank gauging and fuel management systems, including submersible pumps and pressurized line leak detectors.

The Petroleum Division is the exclusive New Zealand distributor of FE Petro submersible turbine pumps and of Petrotechnik International Universal Petro Piping. This direct burial flexible underground service station pipework is the strongest, most lightweight and versatile system available in the world.
